Harvest good and well.
Hello Y’all,
Welcome, we appreciate having you here and your interest in our family farm. Next season 2025 we are transitioning into operating a 30acre stead where there are 3 acres of mature beautiful Peony roots of multiple varieties and colors; Duchess de Nemours, Elsa Sass, Festiva Maxima, Monsieur Jules Elie, Sarah Bernhardt, with limited roots of Boule de Neige and Immaculee. There are four high tunnels for diverse vegetable, strawberry, and nursery production. Also a cabin farmstand to find all the yummy produce and farm goodies. Can’t forget our Indian Runner duck color/pattern project to preserve that wonderful breed. Follow and grow with us as we spread our roots in Trapper Creek of the abundant Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Alaska. On social media too you'll see what it's like to be a self sufficient Alaskan that lives off the land and is food secure by sustainably sourcing what God has provided for us.
Blessings, harvest good and well.

I'm just a mom, right?
Oof yup I said it and I’ve said that too many times to count. It’s true though I am a mom. I am a stay at home mama who does a little traditional preserving. A little I suppose can be an understatement for your average person when we put up about 800 jars in last season alone…

At the beginning
It all begins with an idea. What comes to your mind with those three words. I’ll tell you being raised in a church environment the more well known verses in genesis come to mind. What also holds a special place is the beginning of the canning jar…
